DESCRIPTION:Please join us this Sat\, June 17th at 8:00am at Ridge Road and the Prairie Sunset Trail for our monthly workday.  Ridge Rd is just E of the Eisenhower Airport Parkway.  Ridge Rd does not cross Kellogg at that point.  So frontage road or Harry St will get you there.\n\nIf you have extra spade shovels please bring them\, as well as working gloves and water for hydration.  Our goal for the day is cutting and bagging weeds before they create goat heads.  We will not be bagging poison ivy.  Last year one of our Adopt a Trail volunteers bagged 240# of these weeds before goat heads could spread.  Now is the time as they are flowering.  So Jim Harms will be guiding us through the process.  Additionally we hope to pick up trash as we proceed!
