DESCRIPTION:FIVE OPTIONS: \n\n25 mile road option\n62 mile (100K) road option\n28 mile gravel option\n40 mile gravel option\nFamily ride (approx. 4 miles)\n\nEach ride is a loop\, finishing at the starting point. The family ride follows perimeter road in park. \nProceeds from the ride support the development of rail trails in the Wichita metropolitan area. \nT-shirts are available for $20 on the merchandise page. \nSchedule \n\n7:30 a.m.: Registration & Packet Pick-up\n8:30 a.m. –  9:00 a.m.: Rolling starts\n\nWhere: \nLake Afton Pavilion on the west side of the lake. \nWant the route on Strava? \n\n25 mile road option: Get the route\n62 mile (100K) road option: Get the route\n28 mile gravel option: Get the route\n44 mile gravel option: Get the route\nFamily ride (approx. 4 miles): Get the route\n\nRest Stops and SAGS \nRest stops will be approximately 15-20 miles apart. Water\, whole fruit\, and pre-packaged snacks will be offered. Restrooms will be available at SAG stops. SAG vehicles with water and mechanical assistance will run the routes. Riders unable to finish will be transported back to Lake Afton. Packaged lunches will be available for all riders\, starting at 10:00 AM. \nYour Health & Safety \nBe sure your bicycle is in good working order. Arrive early the day of the ride to check your bike and tires. \nNEW THIS YEAR: Please review and agree to abide by the COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. Masks (when stopped) and social distancing are required. \nProceeds from the ride support the development of rail trails in the Wichita metropolitan area.\nNote: The Wicked Wind 100k is a rain or shine event. In case of severe weather or rain\, the start time may be delayed. \nWe reserve the right to reschedule and restructure the ride to a virtual edition if COVID-19 does not allow for in-person gatherings.
